The UJO offers emergency assistance for families
and individuals facing job loss, sickness, death of a
family member or other major crisis. Assistance includes
a full case assessment, coordination of volunteers,
comprehensive referrals, assistance with Medicaid
exemptions, advocacy to obtain insurance, SSI and
homecare if eligible, and emergency financial
assistance.
