The UJO runs a local Meals-on-Wheels program for seniors
which delivers meals daily to homebound persons. The UJO
also operates a free Food Pantry, provides Food Vouchers at
local food centers, assists with enrollment to receive Food Stamps, provides nutritional consultations for individuals, and offers
nutrition seminars for community groups, senior citizen
centers and schools. As a designated HRA single stop,
clients can conveniently apply at the local UJO office for
both Food Stamps and Medicaid.
