The UJO works with the Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island and other funding sources to provide transportation for medical appointments for those in need. The UJO also works with Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) representatives to assist eligible clients with applications for discounted MetroCards and Access-a-Ride. Dependent on available funding, representatives from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) periodically come to our 32 Penn Street office to assist clients with applications for non-drivers ID cards and license renewals.
