Supporting Religious Rights in Prison

Supporting Religious Rights in Prison
The Constitution of the United States affords inmates the ability to freely practice their faith while incarcerated. It’s rare that members of the Williamsburg community are jailed but when it happens, we work with inmates to ensure their religious rights are protected and adhered to. We have been working with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Prisons for over 25 years to ensure robust policies that protect the rights of religious inmates. We have worked with Federal, State and local county facilities to educate leadership and staff on Orthodox Jewish religious practices.
